Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup salted butter, browned (170 g)
  • 2/3 cup dark brown sugar (135 g)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (50 g)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 an overripe banana
  • 1 tsp vanilla paste
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (240 g)
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon chocolate chunks ( measure with your heart ) i used @tonyschocolonely_us choco changer bar , i used the salty fudge and almond dark chocolate bar;) instructions preheat oven to 350°f and line a baking sheet with parchment paper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon and set aside
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk the cooled browned butter ( not cold just not burning hot ) with the dark brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth
  3. Add the egg, vanilla , and mashed banana and whisk until fully combined
  4. Fold in the dry ingredients just until incorporated, then fold in chopped dark chocolate
  5. Let cool before serving
  6. ( do not over bake, the cookies might look underdone when you take them out but as they cool they should firm up
