Ingredients

  • 115 g melted butter (1/2 cup)
  • 100 g granulated sugar (1/2 cup)
  • 60 g brown sugar (1/3 cup)
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 150 g all purpose flour (1 1/4 cup)
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp matcha powder
  • 150 g white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and melted butter.
  2. Add the egg and vanilla, whisking until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Gradually add the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt, matcha) to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined
  4. Scoop the dough using an ice cream scoop and refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours or overnight. (Don't skip this step)
  5. Roll each dough into a ball and place on a baking tray lined with parchment 2-3 inches apart.
