Ingredients
- 3/4 cup salted butter, browned (170 g)
- 2/3 cup dark brown sugar (140 g)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (50 g)
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla paste (5 g)
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (240 g)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (8 g)
- 1/2 tsp baking powder (2 g)
- 1/2 tsp baking soda (3 g)
- 1/4 tsp salt (1
- 1/4 cup white hazelnut cream ( i also stuffed the cookies with this prob like
- 1 tbsp each, but it ended up cooking into the cookies ) mini kinder buenos (for the center + topping) brown the butter over medium heat until it smells nutty and the milk solids turn golden
Instructions
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly
- Pour the browned butter into a bowl and mix in the sugars
- Give it a minute to cool so you don’t scramble the egg
- Add the egg and vanilla and whisk until smooth
- Fold in the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until a soft dough forms, then stir in the chocolate chunks
- Add a mini kinder bueno in the center, then wrap the dough around it and roll into a ball
- Bake at 350°f for 11–13 minutes, until the edges are set and the centers are still soft
- While the cookies are still warm, spread white hazelnut cream on top and press a piece of kinder bueno onto it
- Let them cool slightly before eating
