Ingredients
- 3/4 cup warm milk (180 g)
- 1/4 cup greek yogurt (60 g)
- 21/4 tsp instant yeast (7 g)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (50 g)
- 1 large egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 cup melted butter, cooled (57 g)
- 11/2 tsp vanilla (7 g)
- 3 cups bread flour (360 g)
- 1 tsp salt (6 g) nutella (for filling) 11/2–

- 300 g total) (i did 85% dark chocolate + dark chocolate chips + semi-sweet + a small amount of milk chocolate) chopped hazelnuts instructions: warm the milk to about 110°F (warm, not hot)
Instructions
- Stir in the yeast and half the sugar and let it sit until foamy
- Mix in the remaining sugar, greek yogurt, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth
- Gradually add the flour and salt and mix until a shaggy dough forms
- Knead until very soft, smooth, and stretchy, about 8–10 minutes
- (use a little oil to knead instead of flour if needed for stickiness) oil the bowl and cover and let rise somewhere warm until doubled, about 1–11/2 hours
- Roll out to about 1/2-inch thick, cut donut shapes, and place on parchment
- Cover and proof 30–40 minutes until puffy
- Once cooled, fill each donut with nutella
- Melt the chocolates until smooth
- Add chopped hazelnuts and mix
- Dip each donut into the melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off, then place on a cooling rack to set
- Let the coating set at room temperature or in the fridge until slightly firm
