Ingredients
- 140 g salted butter, melted
- 130 g brown sugar
- 90 g white sugar
- 1 egg
- 245 g flour
- 3 g baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 150 g chocolate chips or chunks
- For the ganache: 100 g dark chocolate
- 100 g hot heavy cream
- 10 g butter (or use Nutella)
Instructions
- Mix both sugars with the melted butter, then beat in the egg.
- Fold in the flour and baking powder, then the chocolate, and chill the dough at least 1 hour (overnight is fine).
- Rest 5 minutes out of the fridge, then roll between two sheets of parchment into an 18 × 22 cm rectangle about 1.5 cm thick.
- Cut into fry-shaped sticks and space them on a lined tray, adding extra chocolate on top if you like.
- Bake 15–17 minutes at 175°C (350°F) in a well-preheated oven.
- Pour the hot cream over the chocolate, rest 2 minutes, stir in the butter — and start dunking.
