Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted & slightly cooled
- 1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 2 eggs, room temp
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 medium overripe bananas, mashed
- 1/4 cup (60g) sour cream or greek yogurt, room temp
- 1 1/4 cups (160g) all-purpose flour, spooned & leveled or weighed (don't pack it in)
- 1/2 cup (50g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup roughly chopped nuts (I did peanuts & almonds)
- Mini marshmallows (for the topping)

- Melted chocolate (to drizzle) (for the topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line/grease a 9x5 loaf pan.
- Whisk together the melted butter and both sugars.
- Mix in eggs and vanilla.
- Add in the mashed bananas and sour cream/greek yogurt and mix until combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet until just combined. Don't over mix.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips and chopped nuts.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs/mostly clean (no wet batter).
- Remove from the oven and top with mini marshmallows, nuts, and chocolate chips.
- Bake for another 5-10 minutes until the marshmallows are lightly golden.
- Drizzle with melted chocolate.
- Cool before slicing.
