  • 115 g melted butter (1/2 cup)
  • 150 g white sugar (3/4 cup)
  • 50 g light brown sugar (1/4 cup)
  • 1 large egg + 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 220 g all-purpose flour (1 3/4 cups)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles
  • 50 g (1/4 cup) white sugar for rolling

Instructions

  3. Mix melted butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla; mix until combined.
  5. Fold in flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt until a soft dough forms.
  6. Gently fold in sprinkles. Chill the dough for 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  8. Roll dough into balls, coat in white sugar, add more sprinkles on top, and place on lined baking tray.
  9. Bake 10–14 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Let cool slightly before enjoying!
Tip: Let it cool fully before slicing; the texture sets in the last twenty minutes.
