- 115 g melted butter (1/2 cup)
- 150 g white sugar (3/4 cup)
- 50 g light brown sugar (1/4 cup)
- 1 large egg + 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 220 g all-purpose flour (1 3/4 cups)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup sprinkles
- 50 g (1/4 cup) white sugar for rolling

- Mix melted butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla; mix until combined.
- Fold in flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt until a soft dough forms.
- Gently fold in sprinkles. Chill the dough for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Roll dough into balls, coat in white sugar, add more sprinkles on top, and place on lined baking tray.
- Bake 10–14 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Let cool slightly before enjoying!
Tip: Let it cool fully before slicing; the texture sets in the last twenty minutes.
