Ingredients
- 300 g large shrimp, peeled
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp paprika
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp butter (for the shrimp)
- For the garlic butter: butter, 1 tsp parsley, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tbsp chopped garlic
- 1 French bread loaf
- For the Alfredo: butter, 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan
- Shredded mozzarella, to top
Instructions
- Season the shrimp with garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper, and cook in 2 tablespoons of butter 2–3 minutes per side. Set aside.
- Mix the garlic butter and spread it over the split loaf. Bake at 200°C (425°F) for 10 minutes until golden and toasted.
- For the Alfredo, melt butter, cook the chopped garlic 1 minute, add the cream and, stirring constantly, the Parmesan. When it bubbles, lower the heat and season.
- Spoon Alfredo over the toasted bread, cover with the shrimp and more sauce.
- Finish with mozzarella and bake until melted and bubbling.
