Ingredients
- For the chicken — 1 chicken breast, halved lengthwise and pounded

- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce — 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce — 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce — 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce — 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and smoked paprika powder.
- In a bowl crack eggs add water and whisk until smooth, set aside.
- In another bowl mix all purpose flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika powder.
- In a separate bowl add panko bread crumbs, parsley, basil and lemon zest.
- Coat the seasoned chicken fillets in egg wash, then dip them in dry flour, followed by egg batter. Finally, coat them in bread crumbs.
- Heat oil in a pan until it reaches 350 F. Add the chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes, flipping sides in between, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 F.
- Mix all the ingredients listed above to make lemon pepper Caesar dressing.
- Add lettuce to some dressing and reserve remaining for later use.
- Apply butter to the bread and toast until it’s crisp. Spread reserved lemon herb Caesar dressing on one side of the bread. Add the breaded chicken on top. To with some lemon herb Caesar salad. Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese, close and serve.
Tip: Leftovers keep 3 days in the fridge and reheat best in a skillet, not the microwave.
