Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80% lean, 20% fat)
- Flaky sea salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Oil for cooking
- 1 cup yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 3-4 jalapeño, thinly sliced
- For the sauce — 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- For the sauce — 2 tbsp ketchup
- For the sauce — 2 tsp relish, chopped
- For the sauce — 2 tsp pickle juice
- For the sauce — 2 tbsp yellow onion, diced
- For the sauce — 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- For the sauce — 1 tbsp garlic powder
- For the sauce — 1 tsp black pepper powder
- For the sauce — 1 tbsp smoked paprika powder
- For the sauce — Salt to taste
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce — To assemble
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce — 10 mini flour tortillas
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce — 1/2 cup tomato, seeded and chopped
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce — 1/2 cup lettuce, chopped
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce — 10 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce — Method;
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce — Add sliced onions and jalapeños on top and sprinkle with flaky sea salt and black pepper.
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce — Flip and cook the tortillas on other side until crispy and golden.
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce — Add cheese slices on top of meat side and let it melt.
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce — Serve immediately with lettuce, tomatoes, sauce and enjoy.
Instructions
- Lay flat the tortillas on a flat surface and place 2-3 tbsp ground beef balls on each tortilla. Press them to create an even thin layer.
- In a pan heat oil. Once the oil is hot place the tortillas meat side down and let cook on medium heat for 3-5 min pressing them down until the meat is cooked through.
- Make the sauce by mixing mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, pickle juice, Worcestershire sauce, onion and relish. Mix well to combine.
Tip: Taste the sauce before assembling and adjust the salt then, not after.
