Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80% lean, 20% fat)
  • Flaky sea salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Oil for cooking
  • 1 cup yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 3-4 jalapeño, thinly sliced
  • For the sauce — 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • For the sauce — 2 tbsp ketchup
  • For the sauce — 2 tsp relish, chopped
  • For the sauce — 2 tsp pickle juice
  • For the sauce — 2 tbsp yellow onion, diced
  • For the sauce — 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • For the sauce — 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • For the sauce — 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • For the sauce — 1 tbsp smoked paprika powder
  • For the sauce — Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce — To assemble
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce — 10 mini flour tortillas
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce — 1/2 cup tomato, seeded and chopped
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce — 1/2 cup lettuce, chopped
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce — 10 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce — Method;
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce — Add sliced onions and jalapeños on top and sprinkle with flaky sea salt and black pepper.
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce — Flip and cook the tortillas on other side until crispy and golden.
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce — Add cheese slices on top of meat side and let it melt.
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce — Serve immediately with lettuce, tomatoes, sauce and enjoy.

Instructions

  1. Lay flat the tortillas on a flat surface and place 2-3 tbsp ground beef balls on each tortilla. Press them to create an even thin layer.
  2. In a pan heat oil. Once the oil is hot place the tortillas meat side down and let cook on medium heat for 3-5 min pressing them down until the meat is cooked through.
  3. Make the sauce by mixing mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, pickle juice, Worcestershire sauce, onion and relish. Mix well to combine.
Tip: Taste the sauce before assembling and adjust the salt then, not after.
