Creamy garlic shrimp linguine
Garlic-heavy shrimp in a buttery tomato-cream sauce tossed with linguine and finished with fresh parsley — gambas al ajillo meets pasta night.

Ingredients
- 200 g linguine
- 300 g shrimp, peeled
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- A ladle of pasta water
- 200 g heavy cream
- Olive oil
- 100 g butter
- 20 g tomato paste
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- Fresh parsley
- Salt, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper
Instructions
- Cook the linguine in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve a ladle of the water.
- Pat the shrimp very dry, season with salt, garlic powder and paprika, and sear in olive oil until just pink. Set aside.
- In the same pan, melt half the butter, soften the onion, then add the garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Stir in the tomato paste, the pasta water and the tomato sauce, then pour in the cream.
- Return the shrimp, toss in the linguine with the remaining butter and the parsley, and serve immediately.
