Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80% lean, 20% fat)
  • 8-10 mini taco shells
  • 10 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1 cup pickles
  • Salt to taste
  • Big Mac Sauce — 1 cup mayonnaise
  • Big Mac Sauce — 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • Big Mac Sauce — 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Big Mac Sauce — 2 tablespoons diced yellow onion
  • Big Mac Sauce — Salt to taste
  • Big Mac Sauce — 1 tablespoon chopped relish
  • Big Mac Sauce — 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • Big Mac Sauce — 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • Big Mac Sauce — 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Big Mac Sauce — 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Prepare the Big Mac Sauce — Mix the ingredients together until well combined. Refrigerate the sauce for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Prepare the Big Mac Sauce — Prepare the Ground Beef
  • Prepare the Big Mac Sauce — Heat a skillet over high heat and add a small amount of oil. Place 2-3 tablespoons of ground beef in the center of each tortilla.
  • Prepare the Big Mac Sauce — Gently press down the ground beef onto the tortillas to create an even layer.
  • Prepare the Big Mac Sauce — Sprinkle a pinch of salt on top of the ground beef.
  • Prepare the Big Mac Sauce — If your skillet is large enough, cook two tacos at a time. Flip the tacos and cook the other side until crispy and golden.

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, diced yellow onion, salt, chopped relish, white vinegar, garlic powder, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. Place the meat side down in the hot skillet and immediately lower the heat to medium-low .Cook for 4-5 minutes or until the ground beef is cooked through.
Tip: Prep every component first; once the heat is on, this moves quickly.
