10-minute creamy tuna tomato pasta
Fresh tomatoes crushed into a quick pantry sauce with canned tuna, oregano and Parmesan — the smartest dinner two cans can buy.

Ingredients
- 400 g pasta
- 5 large fresh tomatoes, halved
- Olive oil
- 3 tbsp water
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- Fresh parsley or cilantro
- 2 tbsp tomato paste (optional)
- 1–2 cans tuna, drained
- Salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, oregano
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; keep a splash of the water.
- Soften the onion in olive oil, add the tomatoes with the water, and crush them into a sauce as they collapse.
- Stir in the tomato paste and seasonings, then flake in the tuna.
- Toss in the pasta with the Parmesan and a little pasta water until creamy.
- Finish with fresh parsley and more cheese.
